How to Help with CityFest

We still need 70 students and 15 parents to help make CityFest a success. Without your help, we will have to ask other groups to share the load (and the funds raised).

To help, contact Lori Ardovino (ardovinl@montevallo.edu) NOW and let her know you can help. We are looking for adults and students to work 4-hour shifts, either 12-4 or 4-8pm. Students will staff the inflatables in the Kids Zone and parents will help with coordinating the students or manning two Coke trailers. Eighth graders and their parents are WELCOME to join us!

Suit up the Southern Sounds

We have officially kicked off our big 2012 project: Suit Up the Southern Sounds. As you may know, our current uniforms were originally designed and purchased before our current band students were even born. It’s time that our excellent band had an excellent uniform.

Suit Up the Southern Sounds plan: Collect $70 donations from 1,000 people by December 31, 2012. We would then purchase the uniforms in time for the 2013-2014 football season.

Help needed with City Fest

CityFest is coming up on Saturday, June 2nd and the band helps with inflatables and runs the Coke trailers inside the concert area. It is an important fund raiser for the band and we need to borrow the following items. If anyone has these items that we could borrow for the day, please contact me, Glynda Berry at gsbeary@bellsouth.net or cell (205) 253-1595or Misty Whitley at cell (205) 396-4257.

We also need volunteers!
